Applications for appointment of all World Sailing Race Officials must be submitted through the stipulated format by the date stated in World Sailing Race Officials Roles, Qualifications and Competencies Document; 1 March or 1 September
The World Sailing Race Officials Committee strongly recommends that you refer to the World Sailing Race Officials Roles, Qualifications and Competences which contains the criteria for being certified as a World Sailing Race Official.

ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFORMATION
If you proceed with the submission of this application, you explicitly agree:
- to support the policies of World Sailing and further its objectives, rules and regulations;
- to support and consistently apply the Racing Rules, interpretations, Calls, [Cases,] regulations, and policies of World Sailing;
- if aggrieved, to resort only to the remedies referred to in the World Sailing Regulations and, whether or not those remedies are exhausted, to not resort to any court or other tribunal; and;
- to acknowledge that failure to comply with any of the above may lead to disciplinary proceedings under Policy L4, which could result in your suspension or termination of your appointment;
- to support and comply with World Sailing's regulations and guidance concerning conduct by Race Officials.
The information contained within this application may be shared with any appropriate member of World Sailing committees or staff for the purpose of evaluating your application.
